189 – Amusing Flashcards Game| Muxi Monster game | English teaching games by Muxi |
Welcome to another amusing English teaching game ” Muxi Monster ”
I call it Muxi Monster because some of my students are afraid a little, but when i say Muxi monster game they enjoy more.
You can simply print out a cute funny monster picture, laminate and make a mask. Handover the flashcards to the kids. put on the mask and pretend to sleep at a corner.
Local teacher call out the students one by one, they quietly and quickly come, put the card on the chair or in the baskets near the monster, say the sentence and run back before the monster awake. When the monster hear the sentence , He wakes up and try to chase the student before s/he crosses the safety zone.
More fun when you Play a related background music as well.
My kids enjoyed alooooot that game and surprisingly some shy kids became more confident.
As I mentioned, pay attention to the safety first. Try not to scare them, some kids are sensitive and even though they know it is the teacher but still they are afraid of the mask.
You can also play this game in open classes when parents are there, I have already tried on parents day, and they loved it.
when they put the cards on the chair, so instead of sitting back on their seats, they go and hug parents. They love this game.
